Review:
This was another amazing episode. Or maybe I should say fantastic, considering the guest stars. After being mentioned a couple of times in the first season, and having small cameos in two episodes, the Fantastic Four are finally officially introduced in the show. The Fantastic Four has always been one of my favorite superhero teams, and I was hoping they would show up at some point, especially seeing as the Kree-Skrull war will soon start on Earth. I really liked the way the Fantastic Four interacted with the Avengers. First we have Iron Man and Reed Richards. Tony is all excited talking about everything he saw back in Asgard, and trying to explain it through science to Reed, who probably isn't paying too much attention to him as he's busy with his own experiments. That is, until Tony starts talking about Sue. Then we have Jan interacting with Sue, but the best scenes were probably the ones with the Hulk and Ben. Their rivalry was just one of the highlights of this episode.

But the biggest highlight this episode has to offer is Doom himself. He proves to be more than a match for both teams. I was waiting for Doom to finally show up (he's been mentioned since episode 6 (Breakout - when Iron Man stops Lucia von Bardas from acquiring weapons from A.I.M.), and this episode didn't disappoint. I thought it was interesting he was already suspecting Skrulls have arrived on Earth - or at least that's how I interpreted things from his actions in this episode. I figure Doom is most likely trying to prevent the Skrull invasion himself, although I do wonder what his plans are (other than wanting to rule the world himself).

As per usual for this show, there are a lot of great fight scenes. This time, the heroes fight Doombots and later Doctor Doom himself. Probably my favorite scene during all the fighting was seeing the Hulk destroying Doombots with the Thing (I mean, literally with the Thing). And of course, a lot of many other great moments, such as continuity nods (Thor remaining in Asgard, Ant-Man not on the team, princess Ravonna - just to name a few!) and Captain America debuts in a new uniform, and without a shield. We know this isn't the real Cap and it shows in some of the scenes (he seems to be studying the others more than being interested in what's going on). Him not knowing about the Human Torch might be another hint about his Skrull mission, or just because, as Hawkeye said, "he's like 100 years old". Plus it was neat how they managed to add two short Fantastic Four lines about Doom once sending the Baxter Building into space and them once being trapped in Subterranea.

So Sue is actually an undercover Skrull agent, same as Cap. Wonder when and how she was replaced. And more importantly, when will the others find out. With Skrull agents already placed in two superhero teams (as far as we know), things are about to get interesting. Overall it was an amazing episode and a really great way to start off the new season. Looking forward to the next episodes!
