Review: These episodes sucked. But, you probably knew that before you read this. Out of all the Marvel cartoons, these episodes truly are among the top 5 worst ever, which is incredibly disappointing, because Galactus is a very cool villain, as shown by his season two appearances.

Not only did the story suck (let’s stand on a building for 40 minutes, and hope Galactus will kindly piss off back into space!) but the main villain’s design was painfully inconsistent. Add that to the fact that all the FF designs sucked, and you have an episode which is neither visually interesting, nor telling a compelling story.

The Silver Surfer was also especially bad, with a design that baffled me. It was so over detailed and crude. It was cringe worthy watching him fight The Thing. He moved soooo slowly. The dude is silver, with white eyes. That’s it. Yet somehow, they even messed that up.

This was an absolutely shocking translation of a good villain, and a piss poor attempt at the guest star.
