A freak lab accident in the genetics department of Empire State University left Max Dillion altered. Now his body releases a constant stream of pure, high-voltage bio-electricity. Forced to wear an insulated body suit to keep these newfound powers in check, Dillion finds himself unable to cope with these abrupt changes to his life. He becomes unhinged, adopting the name Electro and he won't let anyone interrupt his destructive quest for a cure. Not even the Spectacular Spider-Man.
