Bugle Publisher Jonah Jameson is a walking contradiction – loud, obnoxious, penny-pinching egomaniac on the outside...lovable boss when it comes down to it. Jonah, at least initially, is a fan of Spider-Man – or, more specifically, Spidey's ability to sell papers. And Peter helps him sell papers by providing (self) photos of the elusive Spider-Man.
