Episode #4 - Electro The Human Lightning Bolt

Spider-Man is on the run from the police as J. Jonah Jameson accuses him of robbery, despite evidence that proves Spidey innocent? Can Spidey stop Electro in time to clear his good name? Will Jameson ever get a clue?

Review:

A very basic Electro is introduced here in slightly above average episode. I’ve always had a soft spot for Electro, a villain who’s never really had a great time making it to the small screen despite the number of times it’s happened.

His design is a little too simplistic for my liking, which is a great shame. Although he looks like a complete and utter tool in the comics, I’ve always had a fondness for the green and yellow electric suit, for reasons even I am yet to learn. His voice is a little too on the camp side for my liking, but that could be said for a lot of the villains.

The plot once again sees Spider-Man framed for a robbery he didn’t commit. It’s been done in this series too many times, and it’s been done better.
