Tony Stark suffered serious injuries to his spine whilst The Mandarin held him hostage. The Mandarin demanded he build in
an invisible suit of armour so he can conquer the world. Once Stark had finished inventing the armour, he used it to
escape from The Mandarin he then used it to fight evil and used his engineering skills to put his fathers memory to rest.
Iron Man helped Spider-Man defeated Carnage and Dormammu, when Carnage stole an inter-dimensional portal device that
Stark industries designed. Spider-Man then later choose Iron Man as one of the hero’s he had to lead to fight the
Secret Wars.
