Not as strong as The Lizard's debut, but not as bad as some of Ultimate Spider-Man's worst.

First and foremost, I thought it was awesome that they got Christopher Daniel Barnes to be Electro. Makes me hopeful that maybe we'll see some other former Spider-Man's in the cast as characters we wouldn't expect.

What I didn't like is the show retconning it's own continuity in making Electro a villain that Spidey fought pre-Season one, after dedicating a scene to him going over every villain he's ever fought with narry a Spider-Villain in sight. It's like they didn't want to bother actually introducing him so they just stuck him in there as a joke villain Spider-Man fought before he went "Ultimate."

Suspension of Disbelief abound as characters act stupid for the sake of the plot and Electro somehow becomes able to do anything with his electricity powers. They were better off just sticking him with Ultimate Electro's power, but I guess in their attempt to beef up Spidey's villains they had to do more than that.

I found some of the jokes funny at least, but then again, humor is subjective.
