An ancient race of alien shape-shifters, the Skrulls have devoted themselves to expanding their vast interstellar empire. Recently, they have set their sites on the planet Earth, and the only thing standing in the way of a full-scale invasion is the Fantastic Four.
Though not overly intelligent, the Skrulls have attempted to deceive the FF by impersonating friends, neighbors, and teammates. These deceptions are usually shallow and easy to detect, as the Skrulls’ knowledge of human culture is woefully limited. On the other hand, their prowess in combat somewhat makes up for their lack of cunning—shape-shifting abilities mean that they can transform into any type of dangerous creature imaginable!
