Review: Whether or not the crew knew that this would be their final episode remains a mystery, but given the previous track record most of them held this season, I have to ask would it have made things any different? It’s true; a few loose ends from the first season are wrapped up. Typically, none of them have any feeling put into them, there’s no heart to the scenes, and after viewing them, I almost wished they hadn’t bothered.

What really burns my ass about this episode is how some good ideas where in the episode, yet not a single one of them was worth a damn. A final confrontation between Banner and Ross and then having them bury the hatchet could’ve made for a respectable finale to what can only be described as piss poor season. Hell, even having a finale battle between Green and Grey Hulk would’ve been much better. I can’t help but feel for Green Hulk, after being so awesome last season, this season he did… nothing noteworthy. Poor ol’ Jade Jaws, he and Banner kept getting pushed to the back by Grey Hulk and She Hulk.

With that aside, allow me to talk about the episode that did take place. Basically, some thing takes over Betty, and she, Banner and She Hulk break into an underwater SHIELD building, with many incredibly bad homage’s to Mission Impossible. I’m always up for a bit of Ethan Hunt, but Christ, this was just bad. I couldn’t help but cringe when I was Banner being lowered on the wire. The rest of it tends to focus a little bit on Agent Gabriel… so yeah, thanks for that.

Looking back, it’s clear the season wasn’t getting any better. In hindsight, I’m glad this show ended here. This, it can be said the show had more bad episodes than good ones. Whilst it hardly introduced a new generation of Hulk fans, when it was good, it was a great show. As for the second season, well, it’s yet another example of a good cartoon corrupted by the network censors.
