Review: Breaking from the mould a little, this episode was the first of the show’s 2 part stories and actually had a plot different from The Mandarin wanting to steal Stark’s inventions. No, this time, he wanted to frame Iron Man! No one will ever accuse this show of being original, but still, the episode was a step up from season one’s standards.

One of the more interesting aspects of the episode was Stark fighting to save his company from bankruptcy, and his disappearance, he was almost conspicuous by his absence. It’s not the best but, again, it’s better than him beating the snot out of Blizzard and co for 20 minutes.

One of the most notable aspects of this episode is Jim Cummings. His voice for MODOK is absolutely perfect for the character, whether he’s playing the sinister sidekick or bumbling brain. It’s hard to believe this is the same guy that voices The Shocker over in Spider-Man. Cummings is easily one of the finest voice actors of all time. He’s one of the few cast members who made the cut in season two and I’m glad he did. Whilst speaking of the actors, it’s hard to believe that Chuck McCann is Blizzard. McCann is better known for playing The Thing over in Fantastic Four. Until I read the credits, I had no idea they were the same person! They sound totally distant from each other, and Blizzard is one of the more tolerable useless sidekicks.

Certainly one of Iron Man’s more interesting first season adventures, but part two let the story down, unfortunately.
