Episode #26 - Blueprint For Crime Review: This episode is a bit of an odd one. It features what I believe to be the only animated appearance of The Enforcers, but not all of them are here. Ox and Fancy Dan are present, but Fancy Dan is dubbed “Cowvboy” and Montana doesn’t appear at all, replaced by a midget mastermind. Between this and the group of people obviously stoned out of their faces, it does rank high up on the weirdness factor. I’ve never been a massive fan of The Enforcers. Despite being some of Spider-Man’s earliest foes, their appearances in Spider-Man comics are rare. I can’t think of a single time they’ve appeared in the mainstream comics outside of Stan Lee’s original run, but they’ve recently appeared in Ultimate Spider-Man, albeit with a modern day revamp. Aside from the giggle that the main villain is a midget with an incredibly dodgy beard, there’s not much in this episode that can’t be found elsewhere in the series.
