Episode #26 - Blueprint For Crime

Spider-Man must stop The Enforcers from stealing valuable blueprints to help blame thier crimes!

Review:

This episode is a bit of an odd one. It features what I believe to be the only animated appearance of The Enforcers, but not all of them are here. Ox and Fancy Dan are present, but Fancy Dan is dubbed Cowvboy and Montana doesnt appear at all, replaced by a midget mastermind. Between this and the group of people obviously stoned out of their faces, it does rank high up on the weirdness factor.

Ive never been a massive fan of The Enforcers. Despite being some of Spider-Mans earliest foes, their appearances in Spider-Man comics are rare. I cant think of a single time theyve appeared in the mainstream comics outside of Stan Lees original run, but theyve recently appeared in Ultimate Spider-Man, albeit with a modern day revamp.

Aside from the giggle that the main villain is a midget with an incredibly dodgy beard, theres not much in this episode that cant be found elsewhere in the series. The Enforcers were pretty dull, and the plot was mainly involved around them and their plans. Not bad, but couldve been better. Screenshots:
