Episode #57 - To Cage A Spider


Spider-Man is injured and taken to jail! When his fellow inmates kidnap Captain Stacey, the injured Spidey must find a way to save Stacey, stop the criminals and get himself out of a jail!

Review:

An odd episode and one that’s only here because it features the only animated appearance of Captain George Stacey. It’s something I’ve never really seen in a cartoon before, and the story of Spidey breaking out of prison was certainly an interesting one, as was Spidey being knocked unconscious and being arrested. Unfortunately, after a while, it became clear that the writer had no intention of following either story through to its full capacity. The episode slow pacing often made it tedious to sit through.

The episode itself wasn’t too bad, but it could’ve and should’ve been a lot better
