Episode #19 - Night Of The Villains


Spider-Man finds that famous villains from the past are alive and well in New York! He realises that'll he need to kick thier collective asses to find the truth behind it all!

Review:

The return of Parafino came as a big surprise to me. They even went out of their way to keep his identity a secret until the moment it had to be revealed.

This episode is so much better than his original appearance. This episode has something going for it, mainly, there was a lot of mystery to the episode in the first few moments. Where�d Blackbeard come from? Who�s the guy in the shadows? If you�re expecting a Return Of The Joker style mystery, well, you�ll be disappointed, but if you�ve managed to understand what this show was trying to do and accept it, then there�s a good chance that you�ll really enjoy this episode.

If you�ve read my previous reviews, you might believe that I think the original villains suck. This isn�t true, but in all honesty, I�d much prefer to see the comics� rouges. Spider-Man easily has the best rouges in all of comics, and it�s disappointing to know some of them missed the chance to be animated.
