Episode #29 - The Vulture's Prey Review: J. Jonah Jameson. God love him, he’s saved this show more times than I dare count. A classic example of how to handle a very 2d character, this episode is one of his finest hours. Given how well he was used in this show, that’s no small feat. I’m not a massive fan of this shows version of The Vulture, but he worked well enough here. I thought his stealing the rocket was a stupid idea. I mean, he can already fly… why does he need a rocket to help him take to the skies? The higlight of the episode is Jameson’s clueless attitude, giving Vulture all the information he needs to steal the valuables without realising it. The ending was of paticular high class, if only for the expression on Jameson’s face after Spider-Man demands a “please” after his plea for help. A little cheesy, but still funny. Screenshots: |
