Hoping to finally defeat the seven superheroes that have continuously defeated him in the past, The Chameleon sent out several invitations to them, hoping to lure them to his castle and destroy them all. Using several traps he had previously planned as well as his shape shifting abilities, he captured all but Spider-Man who finally managed to stop his mad plan and free all his friends. Tying The Chameleon in his seat with his webbing, Spider-Man and the other superheroes fled the exploding castle and took The Chameleon to the authorities.
