The owner of J3 communications and Publisher of The Daily Bugle, J. Jonah Jameson is Peter Parkers irate, foul mannered.
He loathes Spider-Man and will do anything and everything to ruin his reputation as a hero, believing he is merely a glory
hog. Jameson hates men who hide behind masks, due to the death of his wife. After being threatened to backoff a story
from a crime boss, he refused and it was his wife who paid the price for him.
He will do whatever it takes to get a story, expect paying Peter Parker as much as he deserves for his brilliant photos of Spider-Man
and his rouges. He even went to a severe length to try and unmask Spider-Man. He funded the experiment that created
The Scorpion, with terrible results. Learning the error of his ways, he was forced to team up with Spider-Man in order
to stop The Scorpion from creating a nuclear explosion which would destroy the city.
Whilst he would never tell him, he actually likes Peter and helped him out with legal fees when Peter was falsely
accused of treason. Although he comes across as angry, his heart is in the right place, and he's ot proved time and time
again, helping whoever he can whenever they're in trouble.
