Jim Rhodes is the head of security for Stark Industries. Rhodes was supervising the inter-dimensional travel experiment
before he and his men where attacked by Venom, and later Carnage. Spider-Man and War Machine fought the symbiotes before
they escaped. Injured, War Machine had no choice but to contact Iron Man to help get the transporter back.
