A being of unknown power, The Beyonder came to Earth to study and found himself most intrigued with Earth’s concepts of
good and evil. After sending Madame Web to train Spider-Man, he challenged Spider-Man to prove which is greater, good, or
evil?
After placing several of Earth’s most dangerous supervillians on a Paradise-like planet. Upon Spider-Man’s victory in The
Secret War, The Beyonder returned Spider-Man to Earth only to find that he was helpless to stop Spider-Carnage from blowing
it up. Calling Spider-Man’s from different dimensions, he asked them to save the Universe for him, as his power was too
weak to stop him. He returned to his home dimension to recharge and was never seen again.
