Banshee�s mutant ability allows him to perform a supersonic scream, which he can manipulate to defy gravity. He dates Xavier�s former fianc� Moira McTaggert and helps her run her Mutant Research Centre on Muir Island.
He has helped the X-Men on several occasions, including rescuing Lilandra from his brother Black Tom and Juggernaut, and later helping Beast, Mr. Sinister and Forge defeat The Phalanx.
