First Appearance: Cold Comfort

X-Factor is a group of Government sponsored mutants, hoping to try and make the world a better place using their unique gifts. The X-Men first met them after Iceman broke into their warehouse, hoping to find his long lost girlfriend, Lorna.
With The X-Men in the area, X Factor’s leader, Forge, thought a little practise fight against The X-Men would boost the teams confidence, and provide them with a real test. After The X-Men learned their tactics and defeated them, Forge explained the situation and Iceman and The X-Men left, without Lorna.
