The final six episodes of X-Men: The Animated Series featured a different animation style,
including revamped designs and animation styles. Saban hired a studio in the Philippines, a studio simply
called the Philippine Animation Studio. PAS took over animation duties because
the animation studio AKOM, the company that did the previous four seasons of X-Men: The Animated Series, was un-available
to complete the order on the final six episodes due to other projects in their pipeline. Produced directly at Saban Entertainment after Graz Entertainment closed up shop and AKOM's schedule filled up, these episodes
have a different look to them: new character designs, backgrounds, and color schemes. Click on the images
below showcasing the revamped look.
