Duncan dated Jean in high school, much to Scott’s dismay. Often thinking of himself before Jean, she finally gave him the boot after he wanted to take advantage of her powers and shortly after began dating Scott.
Believing that mutants were dangerous, he began committing mutant hate crimes before Spyke stopped him. He was arrested for his crimes.
