Review: There are some episodes when something so stupid happens it�s simply too hard to get passed it, and it ruins a good episode. This episode isn�t like that. The incident simply makes a bad episode even worse.

Reed playing monster movies tricks the Skrulls into thinking Earth isn't a planet worth taking over. The Skrulls. who are supposedly a superior race, actually believed him. How any of it is to be taken seriously is simply preposterous, and basically signaled the end for the chance of a good series. Every single cheap trick in the book seemed to be used in this season.

The Skrulls could�ve been great villains. But again, the show refused to take its villains seriously. I could understand why they would do this, if they went for a full on comedy root, or something similar to Teen Titans. But it�s simply bad storytelling from a writer who simply doesn�t �get� the Fantastic Four.

Yet another episode barely worthy of a single star.
