Images: Review by Royal Rubble This episode introduces us to Damage Control, a group of normal humans who work together to repair any property damage caused by conflicts between superheroes and super villains. I liked how Nick Fury forced Spider-man and his teammates to join the repair crew, in order to teach them how to be more responsible. The idea for this episode was good, though the execution was pretty bad. After the recent string of decent or pretty good episodes, this episode doesn't really have anything to offer to make it stand out in any way. Once again the other main characters didn't really get to do too much, Nova was still annoying and J. Jonah Jameson still comes up excuses to make people think Spidey is a menace, despite evidence that he actually saved the day. The Wrecking Crew was probably the most logical choice for the villains of this episode, so I'm not really that surprised to see them again. The only part I really liked about this episode was the tribute to the great late Dwayne McDuffie. And modeling the leader of the Damage Control crew to look like Mr. McDuffie was a nice touch. I liked how they used some pretty obscure characters he created for this episode. I remember Damage Control appearing on The Super Hero Squad Show, so this isn't they're first appearance in animation but I'm not really familiar with his contributions to the Marvel Universe (I know about most of his DC work though). I also liked the cameo of Captain Ultra but that was mostly because I was thinking about his pretty hilarious cameo back on Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes. Overall, this episode was all the more disappointing because the last couple of episodes kind of made me think the show was finally improving.
