Mini-Review by Joe Mabbon

I thought the episode itself was just okay. It was typical villain team-up plot, right down to last minute backstabbing. As for the heroes, I think there might have been too many to use them all effectively. I think Falcon only got a couple lines, which was a shame since he and Peter have a lot in common. Hawkeye's antipathy towards Spider-Man was given nod, but the show didn't have time to really explore that angle. I also thought Spider-Man's dilemma about leaving his old team fell flat, because he never really spent much time with them outside of work and it always felt like more of an obligation than a real friendship. Jokes were more miss than hit as usual, but at least they kept the cutaway gags to a minimum.

The references to the Capcom fighting series were a nice touch though. I also really enjoyed Loki fumbling around in Spider-Man's body. Web slinging is not as easy as Peter makes it look.
