Hoping to become all-powerful, Dr. Doom used the power of two mystical amulets that he believed would grant him the power of turning his thoughts into reality.
When Spider-Man stumbled onto Doom’s plot, he stopped him, and an elderly gentleman by the name of Mr. Frump whom Doom later attempted to befriend in hopes of getting him to follow Doom’s wishes.
Dr. Doom and the Spider-Friends teamed up in order to retrieve the amulets from Frump and succeeded before Doom escaped.
