The Spider Slayers are a series of robots created by Spencer Smythe for the sole purpose of killing Spider-Man. Norman
Osborn originally hired Spencer Smythe to capture them in order to pay off a debt he owed to The Kingpin.
After the original Spider Slayer and Spencer Smythe were destroyed in Oscorp, Spencer's son, Alister began working
for The Kingpin and he enginerred new, deadlier Spider Slayer robots before Spider-Man defeated them.
